WAR
The
lights over London Are silent, forlorn The blackness Holds them in its
grasp The speech Fearful Blustering Unheard Drowned
out By sirens Wailing in the night Violent, yet reassuring Opulent
in their loudness Directing humanities affairs War weary Repetitive A
life saved One lost The mark of war As bankers count their profits And
empires, legitimate, human Are battered and brought low By the money hoarders the gods of
war Self - appointed They too have their alliegences And gods to
other gods pay homage To the darkness Not pierced by light
