The Last Days

Connecting the dots, transparently.

In these last days the Bible opens out like a flower, and we see the meaning, coherently, simply and prosaically, so that we can understand the times we are living in, and act accordingly.

"Rumours of War."

If you can't defeat a country militarily, you take it down psychologically.

People have limited resistance to persistent pressure, especially when it comes to a perception of an impending attack, which is deliberately prolonged, to defeat the civilian population and place terrible stress and pressure on the military; at the same time driving a wedge between the government of the day and those of the civilian population who somehow think it is all their fault.

Hence the Bible is not simply spreading rumours, as it appears at first glance, but is describing the second kind of warfare just as deadly, and just as destructive as the first,when it comes to the human spirit.

Open your eyes. Say yes to the truth, and be not misled in your soul by evil presented as good; soul destroying, presented as soul uplifting, immorality presented as morality.
Step out of the box of lies, the electronic matrix, carefully constructed for you.

I cannot lead you. You have to rely on yourself. Listen to your conscience and all will be well for you.

Thus in Iran today people are living with a terrible burden and reach out to us
for our prayers from the depth of their hearts.

In Palestine the force is physical; think of the children in these circumstances. These tender souls who were not born into this world for this!

There is no salvation for those who perpetrate and above all orchestrate these
sufferings, but we can, by our prayers alleviate some of the sufferings of these two peoples, the Palestinians and the Iranians.

You may say. "Has God heard our pleas for Iraq, for Afghanistan, for Haiti, for Yugoslavia, for Lebanon, for the former Soviet Union, for the Congo, for East Timor, for the unborn, for the victims of vaccinnes and bad medicine , food, water, DU, for aboriginal peoples?

My answer is an emphatic YES!
and yet, we cannot know the full outcome of our prayers in this life, only in the next.

And what of political and religious victims and prisoners?

How then can we prepare for our own security and protection, but with the help of constant prayer, trust, fidelity and knowledge, infused in us by God when once we follow the dictates of our own conscience.

The only people that seem to pray
are those who have had either a close encounter with Jesus Christ or a close encounter with death.

The effect seems equally efficacious with both. So let me put
it bluntly....... the 'end days' is a close personal encounter with death.
