from the air
I seemed to see them
out there
sulphur fumes
lava spews
rolling down the mountain
it flips and flops
from the fountain
and finding its way
to the sea
turbulence
steam
follow the sight
and molten
sprayed droplets
in the night
tis the beginning and the end
a passing shadow
a sleeping mind
a rumble of earth
a silent pause
before we weep
